Roleplaying Rules and Information

1. To join GEW, just fill out the application on the website and await a response or simply register to the forums and wait until your account is validated. Once validated, fill out the contract template and post your application in a new topic in the "Sign a Contract" forum.

2. Global Extreme Wrestling accepts applications for ORIGINAL characters only.

3. Duplicate pic bases are not allowed. In the "Sign a Contract" forum, there is a list posted with all the taken pic bases and entrance themes.

4. GEW holds one show each week - Thursday Night Chaos. The roleplay limit is 2 and the deadline for roleplays is 7pm EST/Midnight GMT (Thursday) and the results will be posted on Thursday night/Friday morning along with the following week's card. If results will be delayed, I will post an update in the "Important" forum stating when to expect them to be up. Please don't pester staff asking when they will be up without checking the forum first.

5. We have nine pay-per-views each year. The deadline for PPV's is Sunday night @ 3am EST/8am GMT Monday. You will be given 10 days to roleplay so deadliners are frowned upon.

6. Within the 24 hours leading up to deadline for both Chaos and the PPVs, only one roleplay will be allowed to avoid people deadlining and making it unfair on their opponents.

7. If ever you can't roleplay for a show or you need a deadline extension, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible. If you need an LOA or even just a week off, please post in the "Coming and Going" forum to let us know ahead of time so you will not be booked.

8. If your roleplay contains material that some readers may find offensive, you must post a disclaimer at the beginning of the thread warning people about the subjects it contains to avoid anybody being offended or upset.

9. You may not use another GEW character in your roleplay without prior permission from the handler of the character.

10. The locker rooms are open to anybody and you may go visit who you wish...you may not, however, just barge in and attack somebody unless you have agreed to do so with the handler of the other character in advance.

11. Passing off another person's writing as your own is unacceptable and will result in immediate termination of your contract.

General Rules

1. No OOC Racism or Sexism!

This will not be tolerated at all. We understand that some characters may use racial or sexist slurs in their RP's, and however discouraged, this is acceptable behaviour. HOWEVER any racism or sexism OOC will result in instant deletion, you have been warned!

2. No spamming!

The boards are a place for a laugh and some fun, not for you to sell products or berate us with porn! If you aren't interested in roleplaying don't bother signing up!

3. No Self-Promotion!

People have obviously joined this fed because they are looking for a fun, friendly environment to be part of. They don't want to be hounded by other feds trying to steal members. If you want to get your feds name out there visit RoughKut and they can help you. If it is found out that you are trying to steal members (And believe me it will be found out) you will be instantly deleted from the boards!

4. Don't Interupt Feuds!

If somebody is already involved in a storyline/feud DO NOT demand a match against them, even if they do hold a championship. Chances are if you demand a match you won't get it anyway. Ask nicely for better results! 4. Don't Moan About Results!

This goes for both the result of your match and the posting of results in general. If you lost your match there is probably good reason for it! In regards to the posting of results if they are going to be late you will all be notified via a post on the boards. This does not mean constantly hound staff as to when they will be posted! Believe it or not harassing staff doesn't make results come any faster!

6. Have Fun!

The most important rule of all. GEW has some great competition and a fantastic OOC community. We are all here for a good time so there is no need for us to be hostile towards each other. We all want the same thing, to have fun!
